Fallen Hero

I must say that this week has been the most challenging so far in this deployment. On March 1 Lance Corporal Carlos Aragon was killed by an IED. LCPL Aragon was Zach's driver. They were out on patrol and walking around examining the area when Aragon stepped on a pressure plate and set of an IED. Zach was far enough away that he wasn't hurt by the explosion, but close enough that he saw the whole thing happen. A few other guys were injured, but will be ok. Zach is doing ok with the whole thing. He has been working pretty hard for the past couple days so hasn't had much of a chance to think about what has happened. He and all the Marines over there need prayers now more than ever! Please think of them when you're saying your prayers. They are all strong and amazing men! Also, please include Aragon's family in your prayers. He was an amazing man and will be missed by his brothers in arms. My heart is heavy.
