On Friday at the Easter egg hunt Skyli ran around with her little tutu basked and gathered all the eggs she could find. She wandered around long after the last egg had been found searching for more eggs. Strangely enough, she just kept finding them. Zach would pull one out of her basket when she wasn't looking and put it down somewhere for her to find. She had no idea and did this for a long time! She was so cute!
Saturday at the Easter carnival Skyli had a blast again! The institute put on an Easter carnival for families, but we were the only family who showed up. They had an Easter egg hunt and all the eggs were filled with tickets. You used the tickets to play the carnival games. She played a ring toss game and won a stuffed elephant, she played a bean bag toss game, a bowling game, a balloon pop game, a donut on a string eating game, and a few more. She had a bunny painted on one side of her face and a butterfly on the other side. She also saw the Easter bunny and got her picture taken with him. When she saw the Easter bunny she flipped out and got super excited! She talked his ear off! She gave him some hugs and blew him some kisses. It was just too cute!
Sunday the Easter bunny came! He left Skyli Tangled, a Tangled shirt, a little pink bunny, a Fancy Nancy book, some numbers and shapes flash cards, jewelry, and some easter candy. She had such a blast! She ran around finding eggs for a long time! She also got so so so excited when she noticed her Tangled movie!
Skyli makes the holidays so much fun! I love having her in our family! We had such a fun Easter and we hope you all did too!
